The Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology ;University of Kairouan(ISSATKr)

is a public institution with scientific and technological  character established in 2005 Under

the decre number 1971 of 14 July 14^th 2005

Its aim is  to provide for students a wide range of education programs and awards:

• Applied License  degrees in Electronic,  Electrotechnic and automatic

• Mechanical,Production System management industrial Computing

• Master Degrees in Piloting and Industrial Networks

• Master Degrees in Mechanical Engineering

The institute endeavours to create a dynamic academic and research environment, keeping

pace with scientific and technological developments in engineering for adressing immediate

and long-term needs of society

Infrastructure establishment

Today, lSSAT Kairouan hosts over 720 students supervised by fifty teachers.
(Either a teacher for 13 students on average).
* 7 classrooms,* 3 computer labs equipped
* 3 equipped laboratories Electronics
* 3 equipped Mechanical Workshops
* A central access to virtual education (UVT)
* A library can accommodate a hundred students.
